We at Stephen R. Yaffe, CPA, P.A. believe in a coordinated approach to providing accounting, tax, and financial planning services. We understand that many issues confronting our clients overlap these traditional boundaries, and that identifying problems in one area may involve finding solutions in another area. For example, we may select among various accounting alternatives to solve a tax problem, or incorporate tax strategies in our retirement planning recommendations. We believe that these issues do not exist in vacuums.

Consistent with this inter-relational approach, we build a team when necessary, coordinating expertise from our internal staff with unique associations we have developed over the years with professionals in the fields of law, insurance, and investments.

We are on the web for three main reasons:

1.To introduce our firm and the services we provide.

2.To provide information and resource materials. Click on the “Newsletters” tab on the top of this page and read about new tax developments, financial planning and tax tips, and an article we’ve written for non-accountants, "What is Accounting?". We have a due-date and filing calendar updated each month (click on “Info Center”). Also, the “Links” button will take you to popular websites such as Money Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, and various government sites.

3.To provide interactive tools for do-it-yourselfers. On our site you can download tax forms, perform mortgage and loan payment calculations, look up salary withholding deductions, and perform other tasks.
